Online TA and Instructor Training
As part of an ongoing effort to provide institutional support to online learners, I worked as a lead designer and curriculum developer on various training courses for online TAs and instructors.
Online TA Training
This online TA training is designed as a resource to equip TAs with everything they will need to be successful at helping their students succeed. It includes three units that TAs work through before and during the semester. It also serves as a library of resources for TAs to continually refer to when they have a question. Topics covered in this training include:

Online Lead TA Training
To ensure TAs have the support they need to interact successfully with students, they are assigned a “Lead TA” who has excelled in their duties as a TA. They mentor less experienced TAs and ensure their group of online TAs keeps up with their job responsibilities. This training program was designed to help lead TAs properly fulfill their responsibilities.
Online Instructor Training
Many online instructors begin teaching without having any previous experience with Canvas LMS. Check out this training I designed to help online instructors learn the ins and outs of Canvas, become experts in procedural elements of online teaching, and learn strategies and develop skills specific to teaching online.
