I am a trained instructional and curriculum designer with expertise in designing and developing program-wide systems for online student success, including innovative courses, learner resources, training for TAs and instructors, and institutional academic support services.
I have a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology from Brigham Young University. I have worked in higher education for 5+ years designing and teaching courses, researching and creating resources to help students succeed, and evaluating and improving higher education programs. My mission is to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in their education and ensure all who support students are equipped with the proper training to succeed in their role. I am also interested in understanding how a classical education focused on the liberal arts and sciences in K-12 can give students a strong foundation to develop character and prepare themselves to be successful as they specialize in further education.
